Project Approach
GSS adopted a meticulous approach tailored to the unique challenges posed by the industrial sector. Extensive on-site surveys and interviews with key operational staff were conducted to understand critical aspects such as access points, logistical flow, identification of high-risk zones, challenges in contractor management, local environmental conditions, and health and safety concerns. This thorough understanding formed the basis for crafting a security design solution aligned with regulatory standards and the daily operational needs of the industry.
The finalized integrated security systems design, seamlessly incorporating contractual details, was then released for tender. A dedicated tender conference and site visits were organized, allowing GSS to clarify the scope of works, site conditions, and submission requirements to potential bidders. The primary objective during this phase was to eliminate ambiguity, ensuring precise and informed tender submissions.
GSS implemented a customized bid evaluation system, assigning weights to security systems based on their significance in the overall design. Carefully formulated questions, aligned with tender specifications, were presented to each bidder, with scores assigned based on the quality of information provided.
Upon completion of the evaluation, GSS actively engaged in client meetings with the shortlisted bidders. Pre-prepared questionnaires facilitated the assessment of a bidder's organizational capacity, technical expertise, and overall project delivery plan.

GSS presented the results of the technical evaluation process to senior management, instilling confidence in both the client and relevant authorities regarding the shortlisted bidders' capability to execute the project. Subsequently, the commercial evaluation phase commenced, leading to the swift awarding of the contract. The successful contractor promptly initiated work on this unique and complex security project within the industrial sector.
